Moncler and EssilorLuxottica Announce Luxury Eyewear Collab

EssilorLuxottica and Moncler have entered into an exclusive contract for the creation, manufacturing, and worldwide distribution of Moncler eyewear. This partnership, beginning in January 2024 and lasting until December 2028 with a possibility of a five-year extension, will see the launch of the first Moncler Lunettes collection in Fall-Winter 2024, available from September 2024.

EssilorLuxottica’s expertise and innovation will enhance the Moncler Lunettes line, known for its fusion of practicality and modern design, offering frames suited for both urban and mountain environments.

The new Moncler eyewear will be sold at Moncler stores, on moncler.com, in EssilorLuxottica outlets, and through select opticians globally. Moncler’s CEO, Remo Ruffini, expressed excitement about combining Moncler’s style with EssilorLuxottica’s eyewear expertise, promising a product that leads in design, innovation, and quality. 

EssilorLuxottica’s CEO, Francesco Milleri, shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting shared values in innovation, style, and a mountain-origin heritage, and looking forward to creating a distinctive eyewear line that encapsulates Moncler’s unique brand.

Moncler, an esteemed Italian luxury fashion house, is renowned for its ready-to-wear outerwear and has its headquarters in Milan, Italy. Initially established as a down jacket boutique in 1952 in Monestier-de-Clermont, France, Moncler has since expanded its offerings to include vests, raincoats, windbreakers, knitwear, leather goods, footwear, fragrances, and accessories.
